Community Animal Rescue Effort's new Shelter and Adoption center at 4927 Main in Skokie

The solar system should roughly produce 200 gallons of hot water per day or 80,000 gallons per year.  Since animal rescue facilities use so much hot water this will help with saving heating costs.

The concrete floor in the dog kennels will slope to the trench drains to make cleaning very easy.

After grinding, epoxy and polishing

The concrete pad has been poured in the mechanical room for the water heaters and the concrete pads for the dog kennels are done.

The taping and mudding has been done and we can prime the new walls.

There has been additional insulation added between some of the walls for sound proofing

The catio’s have also been framed.

We have built the walls for the dog kennels for the Adoption Center at C.A.R.E. in Skokie.

The concrete has been patched after the underground plumbing work had been done.

The underground plumbing for the sinks and trench drains around the dog kennels has been started.

The parking lot has been paved and the parking lot strips have been painted.  Now we w need to wait at least 7 days before driving on the new asphalt.

The new water service is inside the building and we are back-filling where we ran the new water lines from the street to the building with stone.

The concrete vault has been installed to protect the valve at the water main in the street, we have brought the water line to the building and are digging inside the building to install the new water line.

We have tapped into the main water line across the street and are bringing the new water line to the building.

Demolition has been completed and we have started to frame new walls.

We have started the storm work to replace two existing sinking storm basins in the parking lot.

Tuck pointing and power washing of the original building makes the building look brand new again.

We have started to demolish the walls to create the wellness area, real life room and the cat feeding and laudry area.

We will be building out an animal rescue and adoption facility for Community Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) at their soon to be new location at 4927 Main St. in Skokie.
